Professional Identity

Professional Identity is like a recipe, it is formed based off of different social, cultural, and personal ingredients and despite following the recipe to a "T" there is usually slight variations between batches. We tweak recipes overtime the same way we tweak ourselves in hope of perfecting the outcome. But our identity, those chosen and formed by us, is not exclusive to us. Others see and "taste" what we have to offer. The way we conduct ourselves at work effects others, and people either flock or scatter based off the persona you display. The biggest goal is knowing who you are, know what you stand for, know what motivates you, recognize and acknowledge the biases you may have and then conduct yourself in a way that others want to do the same and feel motivated to be their best because of your influence.
