Present ICU Supervisor
Directly overseeing and coordinating the daily running of a 30 bed Intensive Care Unit, comprised of surgical, cardiac and medical ICU patients. Responsible for nursing assignments, scheduling, counseling, quality control, assessments and coordination with the Emergency department, Post anesthesia unit and Admissions to facilitate flow through the ICU. I respond to all code blue calls and head the Rapid Response Team.The ICU received five consecutive Beacon Awards during my tenure as ICU Supervisor.
