The goal for developing a decreased incidence of Compassion Fatigue among ER personal.
Assess personal using ProQOL tool
The strategy improves work environment.
All staff will to be involved plan: NP.MD, RN, PA, ER director, Nurse Educator, registration, techs, secretary.
Challenges encounter will be participation.
No Disciplinary actions
Evidence Based Practice and Nurse Educator resources would be acquired.
Description of the Strategy: Volunteers to take ProQOL tool to assess Compassion Fatigue. Assess the need for intervetions. For Therapy session to encourage expression of feelings.
What is the issue? To: Increase Compassion Fatigue in Emergency room personal.
TO Assists staff awareness and improve levels of stress and burnt out.
What is the action? In a way that : creates greater collaboration and cooperation internally and externally
IN A WAY: First, volunteer staff will take the ProQOL test.
Second, creation of a after shift therapy session.
Post will be place in breakroom when session will take place in the A.M.

SO THAT: Staff the participated in the session went home less stress and even laughter of senseless, horrendous, and crazy days was seen.
